Please be advised that the list is out of date but it will be updated in future.   Friday, 29 August 2003 $255,000 CyberLaw proposal for InternetNZ Does InternetNZ even bother to talk to members now days? Earlier this week I looked at the planned council meeting agenda and saw an item called 'CyberLaw' that had no document attached to it. Today, the day of the council meeting I took another look and saw this document. If agreed InternetNZ agrees to pay $85,000 per year for three years to VUW. One would think that before agreeing to spend $255,000 that membership would be at least consulted on this esp. as it seems numerous InternetNZ councillors people have been working on this proposal. Lets not talk about the business case and document that outlines how this fits in with InternetNZ's objectives and medium-long term plans.
