InternetNZ approved a payment of $20,000 to Melbourne IT to settle a claim that they had made. My first thinking is it fails the "Does not conflict with, duplicate or cause confusion about, any existing 2LD..." requirement as most people would not understand difference between it and govt.nz. 1:38:04 PM      Like to comment? [] InternetNZ members meeting The InternetNZ members meeting was interesting last night. The major thing that struck me after having no involvement with InternetNZ for 18 months (other than being on the 2LD working group reporting in via the NZOC) it seemed like I have never left. With the .nz Disputes Process workgroup meeting today it reminded me of the God vs little guy story from July last year. I wonder what occurred on this issue, I see the familysearch.co.nz is parked at FreeParking and still owned by the same person as before. It was on the agenda of the last NZOC of meeting. After making some calls I have found out that very little seems to have occurred.
