Please be advised that the list is out of date but it will be updated in future.   Wednesday, 3 August 2005 ISPANZ Reborn ISPANZ (ISP Association of NZ) has existing before. Using the WayBack Machine you can find its website. It was moribund for years it seems as from Jan 1997 to April 1999 the same information was listed. Now ISPANZ is 'reforming' based on reports in DomionPost due to "New Zealand's broadband market is suffering from a lack of true competition because current UBS resellers are faced with low margins and a very limited ability to differentiate between broadband products.". I find this interesting as it was created in 1996 due to concerns over Xtra's pricing changes. I found an old website with a summary of the background. The ironic thing is a few years ago InternetNZ removed the council 'allocation' for an 'industry representative'. Now it is reformed and they might be seeking help for administrative functions from InternetNZ.
